Project Overview
During my internship at Trusli, I played a key role in creating design assets for social media and website projects. I focused on utilizing the existing design language and leveraging the design system to ensure consistency across all assets. My contributions included designing graphics, choosing color palettes and typography, and ensuring that all assets adhered to brand guidelines. The result was a cohesive and visually appealing suite of assets that effectively communicated the brand's message and values.
My Design Process for Design Assets
My design process for creating design assets involves a series of steps that help me deliver high-quality work. Firstly, I clarify the audience and purpose of the design assets in the defining stage. This helps me ensure that the visual design message is clear and concise. For example, if the design asset is for social media, I ensure it speaks one thing on one visual asset.
In the ideating stage, I draft at least three proposals with rationales to discuss with the stakeholders. This helps me gain valuable feedback and insights to incorporate into my work. Once I have selected the proposal, I move on to the designing stage, where I draft at least three design concepts based on the selected proposal.
Next comes the prototyping stage, where I iterate the most appropriate design. This helps me fine-tune the design and ensure that it meets the stakeholders' requirements. Finally, the design assets are configured on the social media platform or the website.
Overall, my design process is structured, iterative, and collaborative. It helps me deliver design assets that meet the needs of the stakeholders and the intended audience.
Iteration
During the prototyping stage, I repeatedly iterate to find the most suitable design. This allows me to refine the design and verify that it aligns with the stakeholders' needs.
Simulation
Prior to configuring design assets on social media or a website, I perform simulations to ensure that the overall look and feel is satisfactory.
